Privacy

Updated October 11, 2026

No cookies here. Just tea. The site sets no cookies, shows no ads and doesn't follow you around the web — which is why there's no cookie banner.

What's stored in your browser

Only two settings, and only if you changed them yourself:

  • tc-theme — light or dark theme;
  • tc-lang — the Ukrainian or English edition.

They live in your browser's localStorage, are never sent anywhere and go away when you clear the site's data.

Analytics

To see which posts get read, the site uses Umami, cookieless analytics. It counts anonymous totals: pages viewed, where visitors came from, country, device type and browser. Nothing is stored on your device, there are no visitor profiles and nothing goes to ad networks.

Comments

The discussion under posts runs on Giscus and GitHub Discussions. It loads only after you tap "Show comments" — until then the site doesn't contact Giscus or GitHub at all.

Once you do, giscus.app and GitHub receive the usual technical request data (such as your IP address and browser). Writing a comment means signing in with GitHub, so GitHub's privacy statement applies. Comments are public and stored in the ol-nikolaieva/testcraft-comments repository, where you can edit or delete your own.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Netlify. Like any host, it keeps technical request logs (IP address, browser, time) for security and reliability.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what data exists about you, have it corrected or deleted, and complain to a supervisory authority. Email me and I'll answer.
